cooking mama charli

as i packed all the gear ready to put in the car charli made a feast of 10 bacon and a man sized two man sized tin of beans. we got the stove going in the front part of the tent. not amazingly safe, but its nice and warm! not sure what the plan is after we get the tents away. my game plan is as follows: get my water proof gear on put charli in the car out of the rain in case she shrinks. then after the inner components of the tent are down the outer shall be dismantled. first all the guide ropes except the front and back will be removed allong with all the pegs, then one guide rope is remove and the three poles consetina up. when they are in this possition they can be laid flat, poles removed and folded and put away! organised or what!!

all the gear is pack up were just cooking (see next post). 4 kevs turned up yesterday arvo and pitch firstly they were trying to hammer their tent pegs in with a gliss bottle, so i lent them my hammer. then they came over and asked if now they had pitched their tent, and the were going would they have to take it down as they wanted to go to town! mentalists.

the pictures colour looks a bit washed out because the camera was on night mode. we just finished a meal consisting of home made meatballs made from the inside of sausages. well tasty had em with pasta and tom sauce proppa tasty. one eve left and i have 15 beers to finish. on with the drinking!!!

Tried to make planks by using the saws to cut a dead tree along its length, nice idea but it didn't work. We also found out there wa not jack handle so when tom had the idea to lift the van and put some brash under the weels. but this tree it half. This didnt work. Had to call a tractor in to drive the 5 odd miles to the site we were stuck on. We finished at two and i was home by five.
